Have you heard? Sensor Networks, Inc announced on Monday that it plans to expand to a larger location in the Boalsburg, PA area. This change has become necessary in order to meet the needs of our constantly growing customer base and team. We’re simply running out of room in our current location and are looking for approximately 20,000 square feet of space for our new office.
Sensor Networks started in 2014 as a budding technology company with a dream to serve the oil, natural gas, power generation and aerospace industries. Today, we successfully create sensors and systems used to inspect and monitor the integrity of critical components in refineries and even create custom products for NASA research centers.
“We’re very excited about our growth trajectory,” says Bruce Pellegrino, Sensor Networks' Vice President of Marketing. “Four short years ago we started the company with only three employees and have quickly grown to almost 50. This new location will provide more room for growth as we estimate to have over 100-125 employees within the next three years." Sensor Network’s current space is only 10,000 square feet and spans three office suites.
The specific site for the new location and moving date have not been announced, but everything is expected to be finalized by the end of the year. If an existing facility is purchased, the move would likely happen in the first half of 2019, but would be longer if a new building is constructed. Sensor Networks has been working with the Cenre County Chamber of Business to find a perfect location and discuss funding to assist with the move.
