Meet the Men of SNI’s machine shop

Posted by Bruce Pellegrino on Dec 14, 2018 9:00:00 AM

Sensor Networks, Inc. (SNI) has strategically invested in people, processes and equipment to be a world-class, vertically-integrated UT transducer design-build shop. Whether it’s rapid prototyping of custom phased-array transducers or high-volume manufacturing of conventional single-element probes, our two-shift, on-premises machine shop ensures fast turnaround, high quality and a competitive cost position.

SNI’s engineering team designs everything in CAD with file conversion to CAM for our 5-axis CNC milling machine and CNC lathes. Manual machining is still commonly used with production, assembly, test and documentation also on site.
